I went to Milk & Honey last night. Speakeasys make me nervous, but it was actually a very chill place (once you figure out how to get in….) I really felt like I was in the 1930s. Instead of just ordering a drink off the menu, the “mixologist” asks you your alcohol of your choice. I went with gin. He then asks if you want sour, bitter or sweet. I went with sweet. He then mixes up a cocktail to your liking. I don’t know the name of the drink he made for me….all I heard him say was “banana, egg white, gin….” Yeah, that sounds gross but it was actually delicious! My friend went with bourbon and got a modern twist on the Old Fashioned. It’s definitely worth checking out, just make sure you have a reservation!
